Do I need to know HTML to purchase a web site from you?

No. It helps to know a little HTML, but I know several web hosts that allow you to add text, pictures and otherwise edit your website without having to know HTML at all. Pappashop, Merchant Moms, ShoppePro and Store2Go are all very user-friendly web hosts that do not require any HTML knowledge.

What is a web host?

A web host is a company that "hosts" your website files on their web server. You purchase the website design, code and graphics from me as a website package, and I upload all of the files for you on your web host. Your web host usually costs $8 to $40 a month, depending on how much space you need on their server and how many sales per month you have. I am very familiar with web hosting packages and can advise you on all of this.

There are some web hosts that are definitely easier to use than others. I highly recommend Pappashop, Merchant Moms, ShoppePro and Store2Go . I personally use Yahoo stores, but you will need to know Dynamic HTML to use this one.

Do I need to have a Paypal account to purchase your designs?

No, you do not. You can use your credit card to pay securely through Paypal, and you are not required to have an account with them. My shopping cart "walks" you through the process. It's easy and safe.

How do I buy a custom website?

Fill out the custom design form and I will email you within 24 hours with a price quote, which is good for 30 days. If you decide to purchase your custom website package from me, I will send you a link to a custom product page on my website and you can check out securely with my shopping cart.

How long does it take to have my website up and running?

My premade designs are ready-to-go. Once you have a web host and forward me your login information, I can usually have these up for you within a couple of days.

If you have any modifications to make on a premade design, the design will take a little longer to install.

Custom designs take a few weeks, depending on your availability to me while we work and how many design changes you have. I am a work-at-home mom and do most of my work very early, at nap times and nights and weekends when my husband is home (I drink lots of coffee!). If my children are being angelic, I can respond to emails throughout the day.

How do I print my business card template?

You can print your business card template yourself on your own printer or you can send it to any online printing service company. I recommend Vistaprint.

Can you make design changes to your limited editions?

Of course, but changes will incur additional fees. What may seem like a small change is sometimes not. Contact me if you would like a quote.

Can I email you for help after my website is installed?

Yes! I will happily assist you as much as possible. I want you to be able to use your website as a powerful selling tool! I also like to keep in touch with my clients as well, as we usually become friends after working together!
