A small studio that prefers to stay small.
Lil Dolly Designs is an independent studio making websites and brand systems for independent makers, small businesses, and the occasional larger client. The work is guided by one idea: that small things, made to match, add up to something better than big things made separately.
Design philosophy
Most websites are built one page at a time. A homepage. A contact form. A blog template. The pieces show up in different orders, dressed in different fonts, signed off by different hands, until the thing as a whole no longer reads as a thing at all. It reads as a folder.
The work here begins from the opposite end. Everything that bears the client's name, anywhere a customer might encounter them, is treated as a single coordinated piece. The website. The logo. The newsletter. The packaging slip. The thank-you note. They each get their own job to do, but they share a common voice, common rhythm, and common materials.
That is what is meant here by matching. Not identical. Coordinated.

How it works
Most projects begin with a long conversation, a written brief, and a small piece of paid discovery before any design work starts. A typical project takes six to ten weeks. Pricing is fixed, written up front, and sent before the first invoice. There are no surprise fees and no retainers.
